Legacy of War Foundation
Three years ago this week we launched Legacy of War Foundation with a series of dinners at the Truman Brewery in London. As a team we had an idea to help individuals and communities to rebuild after conflict in new and innovative ways. We wanted to build projects that were localised, beneficiary led, and which had long-term, sustainable goals.
At that moment we could never have dreamed of the impact our work would have.

In the past three years we have managed and built projects in Lebanon, Syria, Laos and Rwanda; providing prosthetics and prosthetic training, funded land mine clearance, supported schools and launched our flagship Land for Women project. With over £500,000 raised we have created real change and helped communities rebuild.
Land for Women, our flagship project in Rwanda
At the beginning of this year, as the UK went into lockdown, we assisted the NHS by providing over 1000 free journeys for staff, 30,000 pieces of PPE and 50,000 other items.
Now though, we are facing our greatest challenge and need your support.
Events have been the bedrock of our fundraising, but due to Covid-19, we have had to cancel all our fundraising dinners and talks. As a result we are now at the point where Legacy of War Foundations future, and the future of our projects, is in jeopardy.
We are launching this crowdfunding campaign so we can continue our work in the months, and years ahead.
