Creating A Safe Haven for Women to Heal, Rebuild & Thrive
Donation protected
Every woman deserves a place where she feels safe, supported, and empowered to heal. Yet, for many—single mothers, widows, divorced/separated women, and trauma survivors—finding that refuge can feel impossible.
I know this struggle firsthand. After experiencing homelessness and facing CPTSD during a painful divorce, I realized how desperately women need a community that uplifts, protects, and helps them rebuild their lives.
That’s why we are creating a nonprofit safe space—a place where women can heal, regain their strength, and step into a brighter future.
Why This Matters:
Too often, women escaping toxic environments, abuse, or devastating life changes have nowhere to turn. Existing shelters may offer a roof, but they lack the holistic support women need to truly recover.
This space will be more than a shelter—it will be a community. A place where women can access:
✔️ Therapy & Rehabilitation Services to process trauma and rediscover their strength
✔️ Safe Housing that fosters dignity, privacy, and peace
✔️ Childcare & Family Support to help mothers rebuild without fear
✔️ Job Training & Wellness Programs to create lasting independence
Your Support Creates Change
Every dollar you give is an investment in a woman’s future. 100% of donations go directly to building this sanctuary—securing resources, programs, and the foundation for a space where women don’t just survive but thrive.
Together, we can break the cycle of struggle and create a future where women rise stronger, supported by a community that believes in them.
We are greater when we come together. Will you stand with us?
Update:
Thank you so much for helping us raise $1,700 to launch Let Her Be Light!
I’ve personally covered the cost of our state filing, EIN registration, and website domains to make sure your donations go directly toward building the foundation for our services.
Your contributions are supporting:
• Our 501(c)(3) application to become a recognized nonprofit to the IRS
• Website hosting and development to share our mission
• Legal or consulting support as we ensure full compliance
• Essential startup supplies to prepare for services and business development for longevity.
This is just the beginning. Because of your generosity, we’re one step closer to providing safe, supportive, and healing spaces for women in transition.
