Love For India Campaign

Dear Friends,
Many of us have lost our loved ones in India to the harsh second wave of Covid-19. The virus has reached the hinterlands with a very high positivity rate. It is a nightmare that we dreaded from the beginning of the pandemic, given the fragile healthcare infrastructure in small towns and villages of India; It is a very troubling situation. There is a lot of help required.
Sakshi, Abhishek, and I have been working as volunteers to support Indian hospitals in small towns and villages with the help of our friends, a team of civil servants, and engineers at Help Indian Hospitals. We are also volunteering with grassroots covid relief movements led by veterans, providing support with food rations, medical supplies, vaccination drives, or urgent SOS calls for saving lives in rural India. Our role as emergency relief volunteers has helped us understand the support needed to save lives during these time-sensitive relief operations.
We believe that if we work and contribute together, we can save many lives. Therefore, we are reaching out to you, our kind friends, to join hands, contribute and help us save lives in small towns and villages during this gut-wrenching second wave of the pandemic in India.

The situation is URGENT; therefore, we will start putting the funds to use soon as they are received. HERE is a link to the details on the allocation of funds we have received so far.
We will share regular updates with images from our work at the grassroots. And hopefully, some great news on the lives saved with your support. We have a below distribution plan in small towns and villages -
80% to sourcing and deploying medical equipment and medical help to hospitals and families in need.
20% to providing cooked food or dry rations to the families in need
Dr. Sakshi Sethi is responsible for the right equipment selection since as a pulmonary and critical care physician practicing in Danbury hospital, CT. She has experience taking care of many critically ill covid 19 patients, during the challenging phase of the pandemic last year in the US.
Your shares will be precious.
