Help Landon Get a Life-Saving Service Dog!
Donation protected
Meet Landon AKA Lando—a bright, loving, and resilient 13-year-old who has never let life’s challenges dim his spirit. He’s the oldest of six, a dedicated big brother, and a baseball lover who has been swinging a bat since he was four years old. He’s not just a player—he’s an irreplaceable part of his team, Idaho Rampage, coached by his dad. No Matter the Circumstance, you will find Landon at every Rampage game, wether its on the field or just cheering on his team!
Despite everything this family has been through, his dad still shows up, still coaches, still gives his all—because that’s just who they are. This is the kind of family that would give you the shirt off their back without hesitation. They have always been the first to step up and help others—but now, they need us. Because what they’re enduring is more than any family should have to face alone.
But in June 2020, everything changed.
Landon started having tonic-clonic seizures and was diagnosed with Generalized Focal Epilepsy. At first, we were hopeful that medication would control his seizures, but despite trying multiple treatments—including Trileptal, Keppra, and Vimpat—his seizures never fully stopped. Instead, they worsened. He started experiencing different types of seizures, his ability to focus declined, and confusion became his new normal. Six months ago, doctors changed his diagnosis to Refractory Epilepsy—a drug-resistant form of epilepsy.
Through it all, Landon (Lando) has kept fighting. He’s endured countless EEGs, MRIs, and genetic tests, yet we still don’t have answers as to why this is happening. He has suffered injuries—including breaking his front tooth and busting his head open—from seizures we can’t prevent. If his current medications fail, he will be referred to a specialist in Seattle.
Despite these hardships, he still dreams of independence, security, and a little bit of normalcy. For the past year, he has been begging for a service dog—a companion trained to detect seizures before they happen, keep him safe, and provide the peace of mind he so desperately needs.
This is where we need your help.
A trained seizure-alert service dog could be life-changing for Landon and his family, but these incredible animals come at a significant cost—up to $40,000. Our goal is to give him the support and protection he deserves, but we can’t do it alone.
If you can donate, no amount is too small. If you can’t, we’d love if you could share this fundraiser and help us spread the word. Your kindness and generosity will help give Landon the gift of safety, independence, and hope.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of his journey.
