(NL BELOW) In the Rwenzori mountains of Uganda, the Kilembe Mines Hospital provides essential care to a vulnerable community with no other access to healthcare. However, without reliable electricity, quality care is impossible. Surgeries, vaccine storage, sterilisation of medical equipment, and basic lighting all depend on power. Recent floods have severely damaged the hospital’s power supply. With your support, we can install solar panels to ensure safe and sustainable care. We require 45 solar panels to provide full power to the hospital, with each panel priced at 250 euros.

In de afgelegen Oegandese bergen biedt het Kilembe Mines Hospital essentiële zorg aan een kwetsbare gemeenschap zonder andere toegang tot gezondheidszorg. Maar zonder betrouwbare elektriciteit is goede zorg onmogelijk. Operaties, het bewaren van vaccins, sterilisatie van medisch materiaal en basisverlichting hangen allemaal af van stroom.
