Help Our Momma Linda Beat Cancer!

For more than 25 years our beautiful, caring, and STRONG Momma, Linda Devito has been beating Lupus. In late 2014, she was diagnosed with Lymphoma. As a result, she made several trips to the emergency room to treat chest pain, heart palpitations, and difficulty breathing. In March 2015, due to the chemotherapy treatments, she caught a severe case of Viral Pneumonia. On March 17th she was once again admitted to the emergency room. As the pneumonia progressed, she was moved to MD Anderson's Intensive Care Unit. She was intubated and sedated the majority of the time. After draining more than 2 Liters directly from her lungs, she showed signs of improvement. On April 1st, the STRENGTH of our Momma made it to the surface again and the team at MD Anderson removed the tube, because her ability to breathe on her own improved.  Unfortunately, she has been in the ICU now for two straight weeks.  Her fight is alive, but she is still ill.

Linda is a mother of seven children and 13 grandchildren. She is still fighting so that she can continue to positively influence the lives of the many she loves and all who love her.

Her favorite statement throughout this incredible fight has been, "We are going to beat this together!"

We are now raising money to help support and pay for the medical bills that her loving husband Steve Devito and she now face. Her fight is still alive and your contributions or simple words of encouragement to Linda's Fight to Win are appreciated!
