Medical and Housing Exp. for Lisa

My name is Sue Hill and this is for my daughter Lisa. Since Lisa was 15, she has endured several health issues. We have been to several doctors seeking help and answers. She has been diagosed with severe endometriosis, RA ( rheumatoid arthritus), and gastro intestinal issues. She was told at age 21 she needed a hysterectomy, with being that young and wanted to have more children she declined. After having a tubal pregnancy and miscarriage she decided to follow the doctors advice. For the doctors, rather than give her surgery, she was to get injections to induce menopause. She went through that 2x. Can you even imagine being in your mid 20's going through hot flashes and mood swings?? Still no surgery even after all that, her doctors wanted to wait until she got older, even though it was suggested to her earlier on. This January she got the news of having several tumors on her ovary and uterus ( golf ball size), and that they needed to schedule the surgery right away. Given her complicated medical history her doctor wanted to bring in another specialist to help him in the surgery. They got the surgery scheduled and we all felt like finally she was going to be better. She has always been off and on sick between the endometriosis, intestinal issues, and her pain from the RA. The RA has been controllable however, she has had to learn what foods she could eat and which ones would send her into violent pain so bad she would be curled up in the fetal position. The surgery was orginally scheduled in February, however the night before the doctor got sick and her surgery was cancelled. They made her wait an additional 3 weeks. She finally got the surgery that she thought would change her life for the better. Since March she has been back in the hospital and only has been able to work a total of 7 days since then. The catheter was put in incorrectly, casuing urine to back up in her body. She has had a c diff infection since she got out of the hospital. It's an intestinal infection that can be fatal. At first she thought she had a stomach bug until she projectile vomitted, and went to the ER.Three different hospitals have treated her and released her thinking it was gone. Sadly it's not, and now she has sepsis, and a kidney infection. We were told she has E. Coli as well. She has been in the ICU battling a fever of 106 the past 2 days. We are very scared for her and what lies ahead. During this time with not being able to be well long enough to work. She needs help with medical expenses and she's on the verge of losing everything. Her car, her home which she shared with her boyfriend and his 4 year old son whom she cared for. This past weekend her boyfriend decided he couldn't deal with her being in the hospital any longer, and he left their home, took his little boy who she loved and cared for like he was her son and moved to Florida. I can't even imagine being left in a time where you need support from those you love the most. We are asking for prayers and your support during this time.
