Medical Expenses for Lisa Munoz

The family of Lisa Faye Munoz come to you to ask for your most kind and generous assistance to help with medical expenses. Lisa is a 37 year old mother of 15 year old Ashley and 12 year old Emily, and longtime companion of Robert Esqueda. Lisa is a lifelong resident of Grant County. An avid lover of the outdoors, fishing, camping, and hunting with her family, and supporting her girls' sports teams bring her so much joy. Lisa is also a huge supporter of many Grant and Luna county activities, school and community sports teams and organizations. Lisa has helped in organizing numerous fundraisers in the Grant and Luna county communities for over 10 years. Always eager to lend a hand to those in need, now is in need of our help. On April 1, 2016 Lisa fell critically ill with a cerebral aneurysm. Lisa, was transported via EMS to Gila Regional Hospital in Silver City for evaluation where tests confirmed the aneurysm. Intubation was needed to stabilize her respiratory system. Lisa was determined to be in very critical condition and she was flown to UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, NM for further treatment. Lisa has undergone numerous tests, procedures and was finally stable enough to undergo surgical repair of the aneurysm on Monday, April 11th. Lisa has been hospitalized and intubated in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at UNM since April 1st. Today, April19th, with many answered prayers we are happy to report Lisa is breathing on her own and has been transferred from ICU, but remains hospitalized. Lisa still has a lengthy road to recovery with inpatient rehabilitation therapy needed. We gratefully appreciate any assistance you are able to offer.
