This GoFundMe Campaign is being established by the friends and coworkers of Laurie and Jeff Coe to raise money to offset medical expenses incurred by their oldest son, Logan.
Logan is an energetic 12 year-old boy who loves to bowl, play video games, such as Minecraft, visit Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, ride rollercoasters, and watch Star Wars movies.
Recently, Logan started experiencing seizures that would occur without warning up to several times a day. On April 6th, Logan, was diagnosed with a dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor (DNET), which is a rare brain tumor that occurs in children. At this time it is believed to be a benign tumor, but it must be removed and tested to be 100% sure. On April 22nd, Logan will undergo brain surgery to remove the tumor that is causing these seizures.
All of the money raised during this campaign will be used to cover the astronomical medical bills received as a result of the surgery, hospital stay (including time spent in Intensive Care) and following treatments.
