In lieu of drinks or shots or presents, please consider donating to this GoFundMe, benefitting La Rabida Children’s Hospital. You can learn more about them below, but I’d like to tell you about my personal connection to them…

When my dad was a little kid, he contracted a kidney infection from that dirty bastard, Lake Michigan. At the time, this sort of infection was a death sentence. He spent a year living at La Rabida among other chronic or terminally ill children, his parents only able to visit once a week. Through the hard work of the doctors and nurses, he was able to recover enough to return home, with a caveat: they estimated that the damage done to his kidneys meant he would only make it to 18. Thankfully, he was able to double that, marry my mom, and have me. Help

me give that same opportunity to other kids.
