The economy of the Aloha state is heavily based on the tourism industry which pretty much doesn't exist during this global pandemic. This has left thousands of Hawaii's families struggling to keep food on the table. The money we raise will go directly to support the Hawaii Foodbank in their mission distribute food to those in need.
The demand on food banks has increased significantly as a result of COVID-19. Feeding America "estimates organizations will need an additional $1.4 billion in funding during the next six months to provide food assistance to people facing hunger."
What You Can Do
Please donate what you can. COVID-19 has affecting all of us differently. If you lack the means to donate money right now, we absolutely understand. Taking the time to share this fundraiser with your friends would mean the world to us.
