Beloved Mom, Grammy,Auntie Memorial Fund

As many of you know, on December 7th, my mom Michele Cogdill tested positive for Covid . Michele was only able to receive one dose of vaccine. She had a severe reaction which deemed her unable to receive second dose, leaving her vulnerable. Attempts to treat at home failed as she has several other health issues that have weakened her immune system. December 13th, she was taken by ambulance for dangerously low blood oxygen levels and was unable to breathe. Due to the recent surge in Covid cases, my mom remained in the ER being treated as an inpatient ICU patient. On the morning of December 16, Michele coded and we almost lost her. I made an emergency trip to California to be closer to her and have since been coordinating with other family members to provide daily updates. My mom is now in an ICU room as she continues to battle this horrible beast. This is going to be a long journey and she is not out of the woods yet. With my mom being on a fixed low income due to disability, this is an unforseen expense that she cannot handle alone. In light of that my family and I are seeking assistance to help Michele cover everyday living expenses as well as the upcoming medical bills she will be facing. We hope this will help her to focus on healing and stop the anxiety she is having worrying about these bills. This added anxiety is currently causing more problems for the doctors in trying to keep her respiratory rates and other vitals in the right range to avoid the next step of a ventilator. My mom and my family thank you in advance for any help and for your continued prayers and support. My mom is a very strong woman but she needs help to continue to fight.
