Love & Light for Leo

At just four years old, this smart, funny, caring little boy has been diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH), which is a rare form of cancer most often found in young children. His world and that of his parents and our dear friends, Holly and Jason (Putz) Knott, has completely changed in an instant.

They have already endured so much with travelling to Halifax and getting numerous scans, surgeries and ongoing testing. Luckily they are in the best hands at the IWK and his team of doctors have acted quickly to get him the care and treatment he needs. Leo has shown so much resilience and strength with all that he has been through so far, however, he has a long road ahead; he will be travelling from Sydney to Halifax for weekly chemo treatments at the IWK for at least the next year as we know it now.

With all of the worries that they have been presented with we would like to try to alleviate some of the stress in any way that we can. Holly and Jason have been overwhelmed by the kindness they have been shown already. In our world of COVID we are limited in the ways we can try to provide support for this amazing family; our hope is that this is one small way we can help. So many people have reached out and asked what they can do and we thought this would be the best way to allow people to contribute how they can.
