Post Accident Aide for Lucky
Donation protected
Hi you guys. For anyone that wasn't aware, on September 3rd- Lucky was hit by a Jeep going 45 miles per hour while on the sidewalk. This easily could've left him paralyzed, with serious organ damage, or worst- but I'm beyond grateful to say he survived with no critical injuries. Though a blessing, the ones obtained are still serious with no way to positively confirm how they'll heal.
In addition to several torn ligaments in his knee (including his ACL/PCL/MCL)- he was left with an injured back, wounds that needed stitches along his eyelid & head, & a small amount of bleeding/swelling that occurred in his brain.
He's healing very well, is getting better everyday, & should be discharged soon. But upon realizing the details of everything, I've accepted the road to recovery is going to be very strenuous on him physically and financially.
Being a passionate creative and iconic part of the Footwork community- he's made a career with his talents as a traveling dancer, producer. & DJ. It may seem easy, but each requires an amount of physical or mental effort he temporarily won't be able to exert.
In a literal aspect because surgery & physical therapy (before & after) will soon be needed . And mentally because he's still gaining the entirety of his cognitive abilities.
Though personally not wanting to speak on things so publicly, he deserves the effort of asking for support. So I've made this with hopes that close friends, people that love him, and family can be generous enough to assist with the start of this journey. All donations will be going towards cost of his medical/personal bills, supplies needed upon returning home, kids, & general necessities needs while being unable to work. He/we genuinely appreciate any and all support so much. And being that I'm aware everyone won't know me- feel free to reach out with questions regarding anything before or after donating. Thank you guys
