MEET LYDIA
Lydia is 7 years old and was born with Ebstein’s anomaly of the tricuspid valve, a congenital heart defect.
She is a fighter who proved all of the doctors wrong when she was born. Lydia had her first open heart surgery at 17 months old and needs another surgery before complications arise from her condition.
She will be traveling, with her family, to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in June, 2016 for the surgery to complete the repair. This will prevent serious problems from the enlarging of her heart.
The proceeds will be used to provide transportation for the family to Rochester MN, food and lodging, as well as co pays and on going medical expenses that insurance will not cover.
As Grandparents we want every chance for Lydia to lead a full and productive life.  Lydia has a desire to become a school teacher and to use her creative writing skills as an author.
