Lynne Streeter Emergency Support
Donation protected
My mom, the Oakland based artist Lynne Streeter, desperately needs your help.
Last night there was a fire in the parking lot of her art studio and residence in East Oakland, and her car was destroyed.
A year ago Lynne survived a terrible accident and nearly lost her leg. For 18 months now she has fought to save her leg and survive the drug-resistant bacterial infection that she caught in the hospital. She underwent 9 major surgeries, and is just now finally learning to walk again. Her mobility is severely limited and she was dependent on the use of her station wagon, which accomodated her wheelchair and other gear.
Lynne needs your help now. She has no income and no remaining savings. She will likely not be able to work again for a very long time.
We need to replace her car and to continue covering her basic needs like food, utilities and rent.
I greatly appreciate anything you can do to help out my mom in this time of need.
