Medical Support in Ukraine.

Donation protected
As we head into 2024, we are launching another fundraiser campaign, and we can also celebrate that we are being sponsored by Glossop Business Network as non-profit of the year 2024. What started as a two-week project in March 2022, has become something incredible, and Danny continues to carry on nearly two years later!

We are also fortunate to be sponsored by Pride Solutions Derby, who have kindly offered to match donations up to the total value of £1000. This means our first £1000 raised will become £2000, an incredible gesture which we are truly grateful for!

In February 2024 Danny will be returning back to Ukraine to volunteer and bring medical aid to the frontline areas. Our last fundraiser in Summer 2023 was very successful due to the overwhelming support for our memorial ambulance from both private donations and sponsors from several medical organisations. We have now successfully delivered two 4x4 Ambulance vehicles, and a fully equipped ambulance to Ukraine in the year 2023. As well as providing thousands of pounds worth of medical equipment to hospitals, medicines and life-saving tourniquets to rescue workers. In 2022/23 we successfully volunteered hundreds of hours in Paramedical care and training in conflict injury first aid in Eastern Ukraine working alongside several Ukrainian NGO's.

If you can sponsor anything, even the tiniest amount will go a long way, please do! Importantly we’ll be updating on all our progress via our Facebook page: Midlands Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine, or on our Instagram page: Midlands Humanitarian Aid

Thank you!

A little from Danny, Co-Founder:
My name is Danny, a Paramedic of 6 years with a just shy of 11 years working within the NHS in a care role. I have always been passionate about patient care regardless of setting, and a personal ambition to support areas in crisis. The current situation in Ukraine is truly heart-breaking, and unfortunately many families have been displaced and scattered across the borders of Ukraine. If Russia continue in their advancements into Ukraine, many more people will be killed, injured, or displaced and eventually this will overwhelm the charities and government agencies working hard around the clock to preserve life and care for those who are now vulnerable. With a project that started as a solo mission, good networking has seen the development of a team of like-minded individuals with links to other groups already on the ground.

We are not representing a charity; we are just individuals wishing to provide aid to Ukraine during these difficult times. This will entail working alongside charities in Ukraine such as 'City of Kindness' based in Kharkiv region and Canadian based, paramedic led NGO 'Forward Response Group'. This objective does however contain significant responsibility and potential risk, and I ask you for support. Some of you reading will be close friends, family, and colleagues, and I appreciate some will question why after nearly 2 years I am still dedicating so much time and passion in our campaign. Many Ukrainians are now displaced internally and across the world, and we cannot reduce our focus to support these people.

Any money raised will be used on supplying more medical supplies, and should we exceed expectations, we hope to deliver another ambulance in 2024. We exceptionally thankful for the donations raised in phase one, and we have been overwhelmed with the support and progress made in just one week. We’ll continue to provide updates on the social media pages and so you know how your donations are being put to good use.

Thank you for your support.
