Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships 2024

Hey everyone, my name is Max. I'm a Sports Psychology student at Swansea University & President of Swansea Powerlifting Club. This last year I've competed at the British Junior Championships where I placed 6th and later competed at the Welsh Varsity where I won Best Lifter and became the 2nd best u120 jnr in Welsh Powerlifting History.

I've been lucky enough to be selected to represent Wales at the Commonwealth Championships this October in Sun City, South Africa.

Participating in this competition is entirely self-funded with total cost to compete expected to be £2000, including travel costs, accomodation, entry fees & equipment costs.

As it currently stands I'm working 6 days a week and training ontop of that to afford to go to this competition and politely ask for your help in funding this venture, its my first time competing internationally and I'm incredibly excited and nervous for this all at the same time.
