Thank you so much for your kind donations and words of encouragement. We successfully used the funds raised to contribute to our efforts to secure an investor. We were then poised to pay our licensing fees and begin operations in September.

Why MOOV?

Imagine a rideshare service where drivers took home 80% of the ride fee and the majority share of any surge pricing, significantly more than what current rideshare giants offer. That was MOOV—a service designed to put the community first, ensuring drivers earned what they deserved while keeping fares competitive for riders. But to make this vision a reality, we faced upfront hurdles, namely the significant startup costs associated with licensing and insurance. Minneapolis and St. Paul required $37k and $41k respectively for licensing, and the insurance cost was projected around $150k for the first year.

A Personal Plea

I had dedicated my career to creating solutions that impact lives positively. From my days as a software developer working on strengthening our critical infrastructure to consulting dozens of businesses on improving their sustainability and operations to MOOV, my goal had always been to foster a world where technology and humanity intersect for the greater good. This project was the embodiment of that goal. Your support helped us not only launch MOOV but also sustain a community of drivers and riders who depend on rideshare services for their daily lives.
