Madison's Trip to Study Abroad

Hi my name is Madison Ramirez! I am 13 years old and I was selected to go to Spain, France, and Italy over the summer by the People to People Ambasador Program.  People to People is a program where delegates(me) get to travel to different countries to experience the daily life and customs among different cultures.  I was chosen because of my leadership skills in and outside of school. I had to interview to get into this program and am very grateful to have been chosen and selected to represent People to People and our nation. I can not tell you enough how excited I am! I can't wait to go this summer and see all the amazing architecture and different cultures! We will be visting the Vatican and talking to the monks! Also, I will be given the opportunity to get an inside scoop that your average tourist doesn't get to see! For example, I will be meeting members of Parliament and will be given a tour inside their chambers. Yay! I have no doubt in my mind that this will be a life changing experience!  This once in a lifetime opportunity can not happen without your help. I need to raise $7,000.  With your help and support we can make it happen!  You will not only be providing me with this amazing experience to go to Spain, France, and Italy; you will be changing  my life! This adventure and experience will last with me for my whole lifetime!  I have always wanted to study abroad and with the home stays I will be given the opportunity to assist them on their farms which is my all time dream! My goal is to be a veterinarian attending college at Colorado State University. This will be great for my resume! I also will recieve academic credit for high school and college.
