Hi Everyone!
You might know me personally, or you might know me from my writing & speaking work. Either way, you probably know that I’m transsexual. I’ve been out and on HRT for a long, long time now. Unfortunately, the breast fairy seems to have passed me by and left me depressingly underdeveloped. It’s a constant source of frustration and discomfort, even despite generally liking how I look.
After many years of waiting, I’m finally in a place to do something about it— have breast augmentation surgery! I have a wonderful WPATH surgeon with lots of experience with trans women’s bodies who will be working with me to make my chest a look more appropriately-shaped for an adult woman.
I‘m VERY fortunate that my insurance is paying the biggest bulk of the cost (almost $6k). Unfortunately, my years of weight changes and the ravages of testosterone mean that, in order to get the best outcome, I need a little extra reconstruction work. That extra work increased my out-of-pocket costs a fair bit, so that’s why I’m trying to raise some dollars!
