In Loving Memory Of Maribel Franco
Donation protected
It is with deepest sympathy to share the passing of Maribel Franco. A beloved daughter, sister and friend. In the early morning of October 23, 2016 the life of this amazing individual ended too soon. Although our hearts are broken from this horrific tragedy, I ask for prayers for the Franco family during this difficult time. Maribel was the second to youngest daughter of Miguel and Maria Franco. Our lives we're blessed by her presence and know she is now at peace.
Maribel was 22 years old and a recently UCSB graduate with a Bachelors in Sociology and Chican@ Studies. She was pursing her Masters in Counseling at CSULB with aspirations of becoming a high school counselor for minority and underrepresented youth. Her passion and dedication for education was truly an inspiration.
Maribel had the ability to brighten any room she walked into with her welcoming smile and arms. She was caring, loving and had a laugh that was truly unforgettable. She will forever be remembered in our hearts and will always be apart of my soul.
Additionally, with this campaign I hope to raise awareness of the seriousness of drinking and driving. Maribel had an amazing life ahead of her, she was ambitious and determined to change the education system. Another individuals mistake ended her life and it is our duty to spread awareness. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. Your choices impact everyone around you!
All proceeds of this fundraiser will be used for Maribel's medical expenses and funeral cost. Thank you for all your support. It means the world to us during this difficult time.
