Support my family with our car and rv repairs
Donation protected
Update: We are February 2025 and the girls and I still live full time in our 19’ camper (living full time since Nov 2023). A semi truck has done a hit and run in December 2024 on our way back from Quebec to Arizona. He pushed us into the guardrail and went back in his lane to leave the scene. I have insurance covering the car repairs but I have to pay 1000$ in franchise which I do not have at the moment. Insurance did not want to insure my rv and I tried 3 days before the accident. They refuse to let me have insurance because I live full time and work in it. So now, I have to file a claim with the driver’s insurance company to cover the cost of repair for the rv, the franchise, the hotel I will need when the camper is being repaired, the car rental that I need next Tuesday. At this time, since I have not been paid yet I need to pay upfront thise arrangements myself and I cannot afford it unfortunately. So we have lived in our broken campers for the past 2 months until I can figure out how to make things happen. I also owe 484$ to the camping garage that fixed my awning back in November Because the money I was going to use to pay them back I had to use to pay the other camper garage to remove the busted awning that was just installed. So, any donation is appreciated to make our life easier during this time. My two girls and I live in the Arizona desert until April. You can read the rest of our story from the past year lower. Thank you in advance for helping us!
Hi! My name is Marie-Eve Mongrain. I am a 39 year old mom of two girls, aged 7 and 9. My husband, the girls’ dad, died in 2017 of cancer, leaving me behind with two babies aged 6 months and 2.5 years old. It had been 7 years and I educated myself and started a business as a lifecoach (marieevemongrain.com). I have had a podcast, with a chance to appear on a billboard in Times Squares, and helping many people heal and grow. I believe in the “law of attraction” and help people manifest amazing things in their life. At the moment we are living on child services and survivor and orphan benefits with the extra money I get from my different affiliate sources like Amazon. You are welcome to visit my page to discover the different products I offer and businesses I am affiliated here --) www.linktr.ee/mariemongrain90
I simply have not made enough profits yet to be able to live from that money alone.
In November 2023, I had to leave my rental house near Montreal since the owner was repossessing it for his dad, and I ended up using my kids REEEs (post secondary education funds) to buy a camper and go down south in California to spend winter as it is warmer than Canada. You cannot live in this camper in such a cold weather we have in Canada. I used the last money we had to take the chance on a better life, and we ended up having an amazing winter full of discoveries and dreams becoming true amidst the low money. We did go to some food bank at one point as I had -190$ in my account but that did not stop me to provide and amazing life experience to my kids. We even got to volunteers and help others as we got our food. I found so many great free activities all around the US, mostly in California and Arizona.
I used our money for us to pay for gas so we could do the free acitivities, the homeschool meet up, buy some groceries when I could, go to ht elibrary daily to charge up our tablets and be in the AC as in was warm, our car expenses, phone fees and arrangements on my late payments.
In the past year we have gone down the East coast, across the USA to Vegas and down to California, finishing off the 2023 winter in the desert of Arizona near Phoenix. We came back to Quebec and went from Quebec City, to Amos in Abitibi, to Northern Ontario to visit friends and family and meeting Tik Tok Followers from my growing community. We are about to head to the Eastern Townships soon, and back to Quebec City to get the awning fixed as it broke last year.
I have now 35000 followers and counting on Tik Tok which is amazing. I started sharing my true opinion and my own belief system but I also share with the people the place we discover to inspire them to live their life and not wait for the future, as we never know what can happen. My husdand had everything planned for the future he never got to see. Life is now!
During our year, we saw amazing places in Northern America, we slept in Cracker Barrells restaurant parking lot and Wal Mart too, we boondocked in the desert, off the matrix, we used the app Harvest Host Boondockers Welcome (it is also an affiliate program found on my link) and met amazing business owners and families that let us stay and recharge at their homes.
As a former teacher, I am homeschooling my girls in the camper and making amazing memories from our life experiences. The girls love creating on Minecraft places that we have visited, they love painting and being creative. They are very socially expressive, enjoying talking to our community on Tik Tok.
I believe that money is energy and will always come back to us. This fundraiser is helping me get a bigger camper or a house for us to have bigger than our 19' camper. I also desire a bigger car or truck to haul as my Porsche Macan can only tow 4400 lbs which restricts us in weight. As we are leaving again in the US to spend winter at the beginning of December, Emilie's birthday coming up to around Christmas, I want to be able to offer my girld more than just free activities, that I already do plenty. I want to offer them more comfort with some amazing sightseeing and outings, and I ask for your help to make this happen!
Your donation helps me provide for my kids even if I made the choice to be a stay at home mom after my husband's passing.l I used all of the life insurance I received to ensure a good start in my kids' life and I nailed it. I offer so much free emotional support to people in my Tik Tok community and the money I receive allows me to still do that.
If you desire to help us in any way, being financially, sponsoring us with products or services in exchange of social media content, or a place to stay when we are on our trip, feel free to message me and we will make sure it is happening.
At my husband' funerals, I handed out gummy candy in shape of feet that Erik had selected before his passing as the feet represented "to keep the journey going". Living this life is a way to honour this motto as WE keep our journey going in life. We do not have control that he died but we have control on our attitude and we choose to be happy as much as we can.
Thank you for your support!
May your day be as awesome as you are!
