Help Bring Matthew Home

Janet and Luiz Araujo both live and work at Predator Ridge. Perhaps you know Luiz as a Predator Ridge home checker, block watch captain and firesmart organizer. Perhaps you know Janet for her work with Sothebys here at Predator Ridge. In any event, their son Matthew, currently travelling in Portugal had a serious fall July 1. He seriously fractured his foot which likely will not be saved. His tailbone and pelvis are broken, along with several vertebrae.

He is in extreme agony in a hospital in Portugal. He has no medical insurance. Janet and Luiz flew out immediately and are by his side. Once he's stable they are hoping to air ambulance him home for further treatment here in B.C. Their friends and neighbours are launching this page to help bring Matthew back home.
