Make Matthew's Last Wish Come True

As some of you may know, my brother-in-law Matthew Tambouras had been struggling with his health in the last couple of years due to liver disease. Despite all that, he remained enthusiastic about life and spent as much time as he can with his friends and family. He did not let his illness stop him from being the fun-loving, caring, silly, generous, compassionate Matthew that we all love. One thing that Matthew really wanted was to be able to move to Florida. He was so looking forward for this new adventure. And after years of waiting, it is finally going to happen. He was so excited. He packed his things, all ready to go, because on May 3, the whole family is moving to Tarpon Springs!
Last week, Matthew started feeling sick again. His doctors in Nevada said he got pneumonia. Byl
Thursday, April 21, he was very weak and sick that he was taken to St. Rose hospital in Henderson, NV. Early Friday morning, he was getting worse so he had to be flown to Loma Linda Medical Center in Califolrnia. His kidneys started to fail, he was very, very sick, but you could see in his eyes that he was fighting very hard. He wanted to get better because he knew in just a few more days, he will be going to Florida.
Yesterday, April 23, 2016 at 4:23pm, Matthew lost his battle. By this time, his heart also started to shut down. He fought a good fight but his body was so weak, he could't fight anymore. He was 39.
Currently, Matthew is still in the hospital in California. His family will have him transported back to Nevada so his friends and family can see him for the last time. Matthew's last wish was to be able to go to Florida. I know transporting him from California to Nevada to Florida will cost a lot of money. An amount that is definitely too much for his parents to come up with. That is why I thought of doing this campaign. Let's all get together to make Matthew's last wish come true. I am calling for all his family and friends. Every contribution, big and small, will be greatly appreciated. Let's get Matthew to Florida and have him lay to his peaceful rest.
Thank you so much for all your love and support.
Sincerely,
Irene Tambouras
