Palace Theatre's Maureen McAllister Announces New Fundraising Walking Challenge for 2025
Maureen McAllister, the Operations Director of the Palace Theatre, has announced an exciting new fundraising walking challenge for 2025. Building on her remarkable success over the past three years, during which she raised over £3,500 for community initiatives, Maureen is set to embark on another exciting adventure.
Maureen’s previous challenges include the Camino de Santiago, completing the final stages of this historic pilgrimage in Spain; the Via Francigena, walking the ancient route to Rome; and the Rota Vicentina, navigating the stunning coastal trails in Portugal. This October, Maureen will follow in the footsteps of renowned author Robert Louis Stevenson on a challenging and rewarding walking journey through the Ardèche National Park and the Cevennes Mountains in France.
“It’s been amazing to see the support I have received over the past three years on my fundraising walks, and it would be fabulous to see that support continue in 2025 when I take on Stevenson’s route,” said Maureen. “The trip is all booked, I’m keeping my daily step count as high as possible in preparation, and importantly, my fundraising link is now open.”
As with her previous challenges, Maureen self-funds her adventures, ensuring that every penny raised goes directly to the Palace Theatre to support community events. If you would like to help Maureen reach her fundraising target, please do donate.
Your support and encouragement mean the world to her and the team at the Palace.
Thank you for joining Maureen on this journey to make a difference!
