Medical Aid Trip to Orphanages in Malindi, Kenya

Hi! My name is Shireen Aydogan,

I am a pre-med student at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and the Premedical Global Health Program Director at Whitetulip Health Foundation (WHF).

 

In turbulent times like this, the first thing to collapse is the health support system for the needy, especially for children that do not have families to turn for support in underserved areas.

 

At Whitetulip Global Health, we are dedicated to providing lifesaving healthcare services to orphans and the underserved. As a part of our Medical Mission Program, we will visit multiple orphanages and villages

in Malindi, Kenya. We will perform malnutrition screening, anti-parasite therapies, acute medical care, hygiene education, and food/hygiene product supplementation for 2000 children.
