Wendy Vannoy's medical expenses

Ms. Wendy Vannoy, an employee of the office of the Wilkes County Clerk of Superior Court (Wilkes County, North Carolina) for approximately fifteen (15) years, has been stricken with a very serious and life threatening medical condition.  Once her sick leave time has been exhausted, it is expected that she will be going on short term disability.  While on short term disability, she will draw approximately half of her normal income.  In addition to her normal, monthly expenses such as a mortgage payment, fuel expenses (which have greatly increased for all of us in the past several months), grocery expenses, power bills, telephone bills, the expenses associated with helping a young son who is in college, etc., it is expected that there will be very significant medical expenses associated with Wendy’s treatment and care while she battles her disease.  For those who do not know Wendy, I can not possibly explain what a bright and shining light she has been during her time in the Clerk’s office, a “go to” type of individual when the situation required prompt or immediate attention and just a sincere and loving individual overall.

It is our immediate goal of raising $20,000.00 to assist Wendy with her medical expenses.  Every single dollar that can be raised counts, so whatever you can contribute will be so greatly appreciated during this time of need for Wendy
