The Medical Bills are Too Damn High - Fund for Cat

Dear Friends of the One and Only -- Kitty Cat, aka Aunty Kitty!

If you are receiving this, you know what a fierce and loving person and Superfine staple Cat Mantione is...You know she is old-school DUMBO, old-school New York...and an old-school friend.

I'm thankful to call Cat a dear friend and an extended part of our family. She has been there for us through so many chapters of our life ----she was one of my first friends in Brooklyn, my bridesmaid, and my extended arm throughout the messy years of newborns and toddlers -- and such a tender source of support for our family when I was going through chemotherapy.

Cat is a special type of friend and a special type of family.

A few weeks back, our sweet Aunty Kitty had a heart attack. She's definitely going to be all right, but not without a slew of major medical expenses and big adjustments going into the new year.

We all know dealing with the healthcare system in America is not cheap or easy - her out-of-pocket expenses for multiple ambulances, emergency rooms, and inpatient care are expected to loom around $5,000 - and this doesn't cover future follow-up co-pays, prescription medicine, and loss of hours from work.
