Help a Mental Health Counselor Continue Changing Lives

Donation protected
Introduction:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A) in the state of Texas and a recent graduate of a CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in the United States, completed in 2023. My passion lies in serving underserved populations, particularly inmates and marginalized communities, who face immense barriers to accessing mental health care. Through my private practice, I work tirelessly to provide compassionate and effective counseling to those who need it most.

To achieve this goal and dream, I have made substantial sacrifices, which have left me in a financially difficult position. Despite these sacrifices, I am determined to continue making a difference. However, as an immigrant on a non-immigrant visa, my current status limits my ability to grow and contribute fully in this field. Pursuing the appropriate immigrant visa is my best and most viable option to ensure I can remain in the U.S. and continue doing the work I love.

Why I’m Fundraising:
I have exhausted all my options and resources, leaving me no choice but to turn to the public for help. The immigrant visa application process is rigorous and costly, requiring significant financial resources for filing fees, supporting documentation, and expert assistance. I am working against a deadline of February 10, 2025, to raise the funds needed to complete this process.

With your support, I can overcome these financial barriers and secure my ability to remain in the U.S. to continue serving vulnerable populations.

If you would like more information about me or my story, please feel free to send me an email or add comment.

How Your Support Will Help:
Your contributions will be used to cover the following expenses:
1. USCIS Filing Fees: $6,470
2. Supporting Documentation Costs: $1,800 for translations, notarizations, and preparing critical evidence.
3. Medical Examination and Vaccination Costs: $300–$500 for USCIS-required medical exams.
4. Immigration Specialist Fees: $5,000 for expert guidance to prepare and submit the petition.

Total Estimated Costs: $13,270–$13,470

Impact of Your Support:
Your generosity will allow me to:
  • Continue providing mental health services to underserved populations, including inmates and individuals facing systemic barriers to care.
  • Overcome immigration-related limitations and contribute to improving mental health accessibility on a broader scale.
  • Advance my mission to advocate for equitable mental health services and reduce stigma surrounding mental health care.

Every dollar raised will help me take this crucial step and directly support the work I do to change lives through mental health advocacy.

Thank You:
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Whether you contribute financially or help by sharing this campaign, your support means the world to me and the countless lives I aim to impact through my work.
