Mondello 24hr team cycle for Mercy SS Kilbeggan

Hi everybody,

on the 16th of October myself, Seamus Grehan, Gavin Moran and Mark Green will be taking part in a 24 hour cycle challenge around the Mondello Park racetrack.

One of us must keep cycling at all times and the event starts at 12am on Saturday the 16th and finishes at 12am on Sunday the 17th with the aim being to cover as many laps as possible! I was made aware by my daughter and her friends that the school had purchased bikes for the students to use on our newly built cycle way at Kilbeggan Harbour.

Having this facility for the students is an amazing amenity to have and I want to do all i can as an avid cyclist to keep this up and running for the school. Maintaining bikes comes at a cost and this is what I would like to raise some money for.

Cycling is an amazing activity to help support wellbeing and mental health and the school having this available is fantastic for the students. So I would ask please help me raise what we can to keep this up and running well into the future.

The event itself promises to be a some fun and I can’t wait to get to the start line !!
