Metricell supports Tapestry Day Club
Here at Metricell, we have decided to take on our biggest charity event to date, The 3 Peaks on 29th August. This will consist of 12 brave employees taking on the UK’s 3 tallest peaks, Ben Nevis (Scotland) Scafell Pike (Lake District) & Snowdon (Wales) all in just 24hrs! We will be raising funds for the wonderful Tapestry Day Club. We have set our biggest fundraising target to date of £1500, we are very optimistic we will exceed this target. Your donations will help elderly people who may be experiencing loneliness which has become an even bigger problem since the pandemic. Please support us by making a donation, no amount is too little!
A big shout out to our brave participants Ralph Montilla, Emily Methold, Josef Uglow, Luke Alexander, Sean Orrell, Harvey Arnell, Luke Scarratt, Daniel Westgate, Tracy Hines, Paul Ambrose, Fern Ozdoba-Wells & Tom Staniland! Good luck all
Tapestry Day Club is a not-for-profit social enterprise offering support across the towns and villages in West Sussex and Surrey. Their passion is all about helping the lonely, isolated elderly people in our communities. They run a hosted day out for those experiencing social isolation and symptoms associated with early stage dementia. The day offers a fun, socially stimulating, warm and friendly experience – all in the comfort of their fully vetted and trained hosts’ own homes - a more intimate environment for their guests to share companionship and memories. The day includes transport in a private car, a home cooked two-course lunch & refreshments, optional activities, and a safe environment.
