There are times in life that are too heartbreaking for words and impossible to understand. By now, most of you have heard about the saddening passing of Michael Manno, on the morning of Saturday October 17, 2020 . His passing came as a shock and for many our worlds stopped when we heard this news.
He was taken from us far too young, only 40 short years but for those of us who knew Mikey we knew what an amazing father, husband, son, family man, and friend he was. Everyone loved Mikey, what was there not to love? He was the most selfless, genuine, loving, nurturing, and hilarious individual around. Mikey was one of the great ones. He was the best, and there is no other way to say it. For those of us who were lucky enough to have Mikey in our lives we know that he was nothing short of amazing. He passed too soon, but he lives on within each and every one of us and we are better because of it.
Mikey leaves behind his wife Sultan and his two sons Carmine (7) and Evren (2). Mikey loved being a father, this was his greatest accomplishment in life. He worked hard as a mechanic and he enjoyed what he did but being a father was by far his greatest joy in life. He enjoyed nothing more than raising his children to be strong, compassionate, and caring little dudes.
My name is Lia, Mikey’s little cousin and at this time I would like for us to offer our support to his wife and children. This page is dedicated to ease the burden and to help Sultan raise Mikey’s boys into amazing men just as their father was. No amount of money can replace what they’ve lost, but at this time we can offer financial security to help them with his sudden passing.
