Thank you to everyone who has shown support for ALL of those impacted by this tragedy... Michael is an incredible human being that has devoted his life to serve and care for others as one of the most AMAZING, loving and caring nurses I have had the privilege of working with. On this unfortunate night Michael was visiting Orlando with his long time boyfriend Martin. Michael took 4 bullets and since being rescued has been in the ICU. Sadly Martin never made it out of Pulse alive and is one of the 49 that we will forever hold in our hearts.
Michael has already had multiple surgeries and has some more scheduled in the coming weeks. His road to both physical and emotional recovery will be long and hard, but with all the outpouring of love and support it will not be impossible.
Unfortunately, his family does not reside in Florida and once he is able to come home to Tampa will also need rehab. Until he can walk again and be fully recovered going back to work will not be an option...So I ask you to please donate what you can as every little bit will count in helping his family with all the surrounding cost of his care in Orlando and to get him back home here to Tampa. While in Orlando they will also need to account for food, gas, and Michael's bills while he can not work.

The family wants to dedicate 100% of their time to his recovery and has asked me to start this campaign for them. All funds will go directly to Michael and his family, those that are directly involved in his care, recuperation, rehab and personal affairs.
