Support for Miguel Casillas' Family

Miguel Casillas was fatally shot and killed on Monday 5/20/2024. 

Miguel was only 22 years old. He was such a kind and loving person with a very big heart. He always knew just how to brighten up our day.

His unexpected and tragic death has left his family and friends with broken hearts.

I was one of Miguel’s best friends, so I have created this fundraiser to help his family with funeral expenses. All donations will be sent to Juan Casillas. 

He will be managing all the funds and assisting Miguel’s mom with preparing everything for her beloved son.

A Message from his Family. 

With a heavy heart we ask for help to put our nephew Miguel Casillas to rest. Miguel had a special bond with his grandmother, Maria. Maria is a wise soul, her eyes reflecting a lifetime of stories and experiences. Together, they shared countless afternoons cooking their favorite meals, tending to the garden, and laughing over old family tales. Along with his grandfather who weeps for the loss of his Oldest Nephew, they spent countless days working together selling Tejuino. Together they made a great team. In the days that followed, Miguel would play football, basketball, clean the yard, work on the Family car and do fun activities that meant so much more than what they felt.

He was a fun person to be around, full of life and full of energy.

He was a son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin a friend. Miguel always looked at things from a positive side. Miguel always tried to have a good time.
