Michael's Memorial Service

Thursday, May 16th, 2024 - A day I will never forget. My brother Michael’s girlfriend made lunch for the two of them, as she has been doing every day for the past 22 plus years. Michael complimented her cooking and thanked her for the bowl of chili.

Mike was always extremely grateful towards everyone for every little thing. Whether it be food, clothing, a hug, a picture, a knickknack.

After lunch, their plan was to relax and watch a movie. Sheryle went to start the movie, and Mike went to sit in his favorite chair. Once the movie started, Sheryle called out to Mike to see if he was coming to watch it with her. Mike didn’t respond to her. She called his name again, but still no response. She got up to go see what he was doing, and found him slumped over in his chair, dead. Not even 10 minutes from when they last spoke.

That’s how quickly any one of us can be taken from our loved ones.

My brother passed away without any life insurance, nor any type of savings. He was retired and on a fixed income. His daily routine was doting over two of his three grandchildren who he frequently took care of, and watching movies, usually while sitting in his favorite chair.

This picture is probably about 15 years ago. It is Mike, his son Mikie (who passed away unexpectedly in April 2020), and one of Mikie’s daughters that he left behind. My brother Mike absolutely adored all three of his grandchildren.

This picture is from when Mike was 23.

I am in the process of planning a Memorial Service for him, but we need a lot more money than any of us have.

Please help me make this possible by donating any amount that you can afford to donate. This is extremely important to me, because like Michael, any one of us can be taken from our loved ones forever, in the blink of an eye.

Because of the distance of some loved ones, those who cannot make it in person will be able to attend through Zoom, and a recording will be available after the service.

Thank you for any and all help. ❤️

This picture is from the time he met Actor Dennis Franz while filming in Pawtucket.

These next two pictures were taken the night before he died.
