Helping Mike Mountain Fight Cancer

On February 9th, 2018 Michael Mountain's life took a turn when he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. His attitude is uplifting as he faces the long and difficult road ahead. In the coming weeks he will be undergoing major surgery "Whipple surgery". Recovery from surgery will take months followed by chemotherapy.  We decided to start a Go Fund Me account in an effort to help relieve Michael of some of the difficult financial burden during this time. The donations will go toward the vast medical expenses and travel for his treatment in Washington, DC from rural Virginia. It will also help cover lost wages because he will be out of work for several months and Virginia does not have state disability insurance.
Michael has spent his life making us all laugh. His Facebook page is a great example of how he likes to brighten our day. Now he's posting medical humor! The photo above was from one of his recent hospital stays and he was showing off his Big Bird Feet. He has always been so positive and is getting through this with his "I Got This" motto.
