Our 1 year old son started having seizures just before he turned 3 months old. He was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms/Wests Syndrome. A rare epilepsy disorder that causes over 100 seizers a day that may cause severe developmental delays in his future if his seizures cannot be controlled. James also has grandmal seizures that need rescue meds to stop them. He has been hosptalized for his seizures and continues to be monitored very closely, with many test and doctor visits.
James daddy is our only means of supporting our family. Over the last several months he has had to take many days off work for the long 8 hours drive to Oakland Childrens Hospital of California, not including the many times ive called him home for emergencies with James. Our funds have dwindled to nothing and the couple family members we do have have also exhausted everything they can give.
we are in desperate need of donations for James continued care,travel expenses, bills, groceries, toiletries,car maintenance, safety precautions for James for the house.

We are hoping to get James seizures under control for his quality of life and so we can go back to work and get back on track. Right now we have no other choice but to be home with our son.
