In Loving Memory of Jessica Healy "Miss Jess": A Legacy of Music, Love, and Mentorship

It is with heavy hearts that we share that our dear "Miss Jess", Jessica Healy, Founder of JEMA Star Entertainment (JSE), passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025. She has been courageously, gracefully, and silently battling stage 4 lung cancer since 2021. Most of us were not even aware of her medical condition, her treatments, and the pain she had been enduring until very recently. Mentoring her students both artistically and emotionally has been a tremendous commitment to her purposeful life. Combining her unique teaching method and musical talent with her own positivity and optimism, JEMA Star Entertainment had become both a lighthouse and calm harbor that inspired her students and their entire families. For each individual student, she navigated their growth as young artists as well as their road to being even more kind and loving individuals. We are all better human beings for knowing Jessica’s goodness. Jessica is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel (Dan) Healy, daughter Jasmine (Jazzy) Healy, and parents Jun and Myra Magbitang. As we celebrate her and the immense joy and light she brought to the world, we come together to support her family during this heartbreaking time.
