Missy Wright; Life and Recovery
Donation protected
If Missy Wright was ever in need, it would be now. A devoted daughter, she opened her home to care for her 89 year old mother who has mild Dementia and requires constant care. Missy manages her doctor appointments, medications, insurance needs, her finances and every other detail of her life. She does all this while working a demanding, full time job.
In late spring, her husband of 18 years, injured his back and missed over 2 months of work which put them in a financial bind. While he was recovering from his injury, he came down with an illness that required him to be hospitalized and has just returned to work in the last few weeks. He could no longer work his second job due to his illness. By now they are really struggling. Just as he went back to work, the transmission went out in her car. This is a real problem as he reports to work at 4a.m. and she has to be at work at 8a.m. She now gets up at 3a.m. to take him to work, returns home to sleep for an hour before she has to get up and go to work.
After a recent routine visit to her doctor, Missy has discovered that she has cervical cancer. Her surgery is scheduled for November and further treatment is yet to be determined pending the outcome of her surgery. We are praying for complete success in removing all of the cancer.
The stress and fear she is facing is real. She will be out of work for 4-8 weeks without pay, only making things more difficult. She worries about her health and the burden she feels she is putting on her family. With all the struggles that she has faced this year she is in need of help with her household expenses, repairs and most importantly, her medical bills. She has health insurance but it will not cover all of the costs.
Missy is always there for everyone when they need a helping hand. Supporting others, never thinking of herself. She is a mother of 3, a wife, a grandmother, an aunt and beloved sister. If you know Missy, you can't help but love her.
We want to thank you for helping Missy in relieving her financial stress and burden during her time of fight and healing.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Thank you.
