Help us to build a Mobile Laundry Truck that will help kids be better students and help adults find and keep employment, and secure stable housing. 

Think about how great you feel when you put on a clean shirt. Think  about how confident you feel walking into a job interview looking your best. Or remember how you felt wearing new, clean clothes on the first day of school. We  sometimes take these feelings for granted, but the  reality is that so many people don’t know what that feels like because  they lack access to clean clothes.

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, we are able to match gifts to the Mobile Laundry Truck up to $15,000 from now until June 4. Double your gift by making a donation today!

THE PROBLEM: For people experiencing homelessness or extreme  poverty, not having access to clean clothes is a proven barrier to  success.  Primary hygiene needs such as laundry are often overlooked  in the daily quest to provide food and shelter for their family, but  essential for anyone trying to take those first steps towards improving  their lives and reaching their full potential.

Data from one study showed that 90% of students who had access to  free laundry had improved attendance and 95% of program participants showed increased motivation in class. The program resulted in 89% of participants receiving better grades -- setting them up for future  success!

THE SOLUTION: Mobile Laundry truck will have 6 sets of washers and dryers, and can clean up to 40 loads of wash per day. We are working  with local school districts and individuals to determine the most
convenient places to park the truck and the best times to offer our services. Clients can drop off their dirty
laundry and then pick it up 90 minutes later (or at the end of the day), clean, dry and folded!

HOW YOU CAN HELP: We need to raise $85,000 to purchase and out-fit a mobile laundry truck to serve
low-income and homeless families  and individuals by providing free, mobile laundry! Fabrication on our
new Mobile Laundry Truck will begin in June 2019 - with the goal of being up and running by the beginning of the 2019-20 school year!

About me: I am Pat Friehauf, the co-founder of Mobile Laundry, hoping to serve low income and
homeless families and individuals in Larimer County (Fort Collins and Loveland), Colorado. We are
incorporated as Northern Colorado Laundry Truck and have a tax ID. Our GoFundMe funds will be
directly deposited into our checking account at Wells Fargo and will be used to purchase our truck and
outfit it with washers, dryers, and equipment needed to provide free, mobile laundry.
