The Brain Drain Project Presents..."Mohawk Madness!"
Together, we are raising money for people with hydrocephalus and their families.
Mohawk Madness is benefiting hydrocephalus organizations world wide! The money from my campaign, will be donated to the Hydrocephalus Association, a non profit organization in the US.
As a part of Mohawk Madness, if I reach my fundraising goal of $3000 , I will be cutting my hair into a mohawk.
The goal is, that the hairstyle will start conversation about the condition - by both being radical, and showing off my ETV scar- all while raising money going towards research, treatment, and support.
Hydrocephalus is an incurable brain condition. In layman's terms, it's 'water on the brain'. Learn more about it on the Hydrocephalus Association's website.
Thank you so much for your continued support. I am so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends.
As excited as I am to raise the money and awareness for hydrocephalus - I have to admit, it's a ton of mixed emotions. Happy to help a great cause, elated about starting more conversations about the topic - but terrified of the cut itself.
Thanks,
Tracy
