Morecambe bay walk For Bliss Cavalier Rescue
Donation protected
On Sunday 7th August 2022 a group of us Tracey Kay, Carolyn Tate, Sara Carlisle, Kimberley Horsfall, Matthew Horsfall, and Alison McEwan will be undertaking a very special challenge in aid of Bliss Cavalier Rescue. The challenge itself is a unique, barefoot walk across the sands from Arnside in the south Lakes to Grange over Sands in Cumbria! The Morecambe Bay sands are renowned for their quick sands & fast flowing tides. Crossing the sands can be dangerous but we will be in the very safe hands of “The Guide over Sands Trust” which provides two guides to offer safe passage across the bay. The walk itself, while challenging, is a fun-filled adventure and one we are looking forward to taking part in, alongside our own beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Bliss Cavalier Rescue (registered Charity: 1193078) are a breed specific foster & rescue for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (CKCS) breed. With a HQ in Lincolnshire, they operate a rescue and foster programme throughout the UK. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is one of the UK’s most popular dog breeds, they have the happiest, kindest nature and love everyone. Sadly, this means that unscrupulous breeders and puppy farmers take advantage and breed them with no regard for their welfare, leaving organisations like Bliss to pick up the pieces. The rescue changes the lives of this magnificent breed for the better & we hope that you will consider making a donation towards our challenge, 100% of your donation will go directly to Bliss Cavalier Rescue:
