. Months later, we received the heartbreaking news: Our house was destroyed in an airstrike. What was once our safe haven is now gone, leaving us homeless. Today, my family lives in a tent that offers no protection from the bitter cold of winter or the scorching heat of summer. The rain is leaking into the tent, and the conditions are unbearable.
