Mullin Family Support Fund
Donation protected
Hello. We are Kris and Keris, fundraising on behalf of our dear friends Kimberly & Matt Mullin and their beautiful family.
On December 5th of last year, while working as a driver for Waste Management in Oregon, Matt suddenly lost consciousness and fell 7 feet off his work truck, landing on his head and sustaining MAJOR injuries. When he regained consciousness, he was rushed to the hospital, where doctors found a fractured skull, brain bleeds, fractured orbital bones, and fractured L4. His injuries resulted in substantial memory loss, weeks in the hospital, and continued physical therapy at home for many months.
Matt has been unable to work since his accident in December, which has put a tremendous financial strain on the family, as he was the primary income earner. Kimberly also works as an author, coach, and massage therapist (all while homeschooling her three kids!!) but has been unable to work since she became the primary caretaker for Matt after his accident.
To add to their financial stress, after their 60-day investigation, Workers Comp denied Matt’s claim. They have a lawyer to fight the case, but it could take many months or more to resolve, which means, at this point, they are looking at 7-8 months or more without ANY income.
Needless to say, it’s A LOT to deal with. The emotional stress on everyone has been tremendous, and the financial strain on top of it is more than anyone should have to bear!
It’s not easy to ask for help. It’s so very humbling, actually. Indeed, we can all relate to that.
But we reminded Kimberly that, in asking for help, she gives her friends and family the OPPORTUNITY to love on her, support her, and do something that feels good. We are always looking for ways to help others, so THANK YOU, Matt & Kimberly, for allowing us this chance to help YOU. :)
All funds received will go toward their monthly bills like mortgage, utilities, car payments, gas, and food. Every bit helps.
