New issues since listing
Hi, my name is April. I have Multiple Sclerosis. I was diagnosed in 2007. I have taken three different medications, and the last infusion (Tysabri) was fantastic. Tysabri was successful in managing the disease until now. I have new lesions on my cervical spine and new symptoms affecting limb pain and function.
For this reason, a change of treatment is required. Mavenclad is the new medication. For my dosage, the cost is 97000.00 and odd change.
We have a household of 5.
Everyone is disabled, and only three currently receive Disability benefits which are less than minimum wage per person to about 6.00 hr average.
Other obstacles we are facing...
Our newer Vehicle is broken...
We bought a 2018 Ford Escape as our "good" car for medical appointments. Unfortunately, it developed an issue that Ford was aware of with these cars but ultimately - won't fix or help to pay, so it has been at the dealership service department for over a year with us making payments - full coverage insurance and a 9000.00 bill for repair. We can't get that one out and can't afford another.
We drive our 2002 Dodge Dakota, which is unsuitable for the distance.
The funds will be used to pay the balance of the treatment that remains after insurance and regain our transportation.
