Monica's Father & Grandfather's Covid Passing

Donation protected
It's with immense sadness but also love, respect and support I share this fundraiser for my best friend's family who just lost her father and her grandfather at the same time to the battle with Covid-19 - and who now is struggling to manage  overwhelming dual funeral expenses and pending medical bills.

Monica is the epitome of a compassionate matriarch to her family, church, community and definitely among her friends. At no fault of his own, her father, Ernesto Muñoz, contracted Covid-19 at the beginning of June through his work in maintenance. A tight knit family, her grandparents live next door, and her grandfather, Manuel Lozano, became ill with Covid soon after and also hospitalized.

Her father battled the most extreme Covid-19 health conditions for 5 weeks in the hospital and on a ventilator, while her grandfather also slowly lost a similar fight of his own. Monica and her family have been on traumatic standby for 6 weeks as they've virtually waited for frightening health news every day. She wasn't able to see her dad before he was rushed off, and a few weeks later, her grandfather was rushed to the hospital by EMS.  Her entire family, church, and her friends came together to pray and lift them up.

Monica had been fielding doctor and hospital calls for weeks until her family eventually had to make the heartbreaking decision to take him off life support Monday the 6th, while also experiencing her maternal grandfather pass within a day of her father. Her father and her grandfather are survived by an incredibly loving, faithful and close family, (some of whom are still recovering from Covid themselves) - that include her Mother Gloria Munoz, her grandma Maria Lozano, her younger sister Marianna, her two younger brothers Ernest and Rene, Ernest's girlfriend Alejandra, and Monica's boyfriend Fidel.

This family does so much together. They give so much to their community and church and are so welcoming to visitors and friends. So I'm asking our community to please help them in this time while they quickly scramble to coordinate and fund dual funeral ceremonies along with paying off mounting medical bills that insurance won't completely cover. Please donate what you can and, if anything, please share this link on your page.

They need all the support and contributions they can get. I can't imagine losing one parent, let alone a parent and a grandparent at the same time, but I can guarantee we have our own communities of giving and loving family, friends, and neighbors.  Covid affects everyone. Please help the Muñoz-Lozano Family in their time of need.  Donate, Share, and Pray. They've been so grateful for all the prayers and kind words they've been receiving.
