NJMS Healthcare Worker COVID Relief Fund

Due to the unprecedented escalation of COVID-19, hospitals around New Jersey are experiencing increasing shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as face shields, N-95 and surgical masks, gowns, and gloves. Healthcare providers continue to work selflessly despite these unsafe conditions in order to make sure that they provide the highest quality of care for their patients. As PPE demand rapidly exceeds supply, these frontline fighters are placed at high risk of not only contracting the virus, but also inadvertently spreading disease to other patients, loved ones, and the community at large.

The New Jersey Medical School Covid Team  is a student-run organization whose mission is to support the healthcare workforce, patients, and communities of New Jersey. This goal is heavily reliant on procuring as much PPE as possible in order to protect the health and safety of our hospital staff so that they can continue to combat this pandemic. 

Currently, we are working with many gracious volunteers throughout New Jersey to 3D print face shields. All donations will go towards purchasing materials for the continued production of these shields, as well as buying masks, gowns, gloves, and other necessary equipment to distribute to healthcare workers in need.
