NPN Family Matters

Sometimes things are not always easy, many of us have travelled down the rough and rocky road before. Sometimes when it is least expected you reach what you feel to be a dead end. But then, all of a sudden you are blinded by a bright light, shining at the point you thought you could not continue upon any longer. Revealed to you in a new road on which to travel, a road paved by caring individuals, whether they are strangers or family, they come together in your time of need.

Today we, Nebraska Photographers Network, come together to help one of our own. Amanda Ferguson-Mousel, a mother, a wife, and a fellow photographer deserves our help. She is willing to sacrifice her love for photography in order to pay the bills that have been piling for medical care of her daughter Presley. According to Amanda, “Presley just had a rough year and seemed to be sick more than well.” Presley, who is 5, has 2 older brothers, and a younger sister.

 We came upon this knowledge through her sharing a craigslist post to sell every bit of photography gear and studio equipment she has. This is a very selfless and caring act, but today, during these holiday times, we can make a difference and help this family in a rough spot, as well as allow Amanda to continue her love for photgraphy.
