Marathon Fundraiser for Newton Schools Foundation

For the past decade, I have watched friends, teachers, and mentors make their way up Comm Ave on Marathon Monday. During my sophomore year at Newton South High School, when in-person activities finally resumed, joining Dreamfar marathon club reinforced my love for distance running; it gave me hope for what was possible.

This year, I am excited to join the thousands of runners who not only endure 26.2 miles but also champion a charitable cause while they’re at it. I am grateful to run on behalf of Newton Schools Foundation. Throughout the 12 years I've spent in Newton, they have supported my teachers and provided me with countless new educational opportunities through their generous grants. Last year, they were able to give $260,000 to Newton Public Schools, spearheading equitable initiatives like the Calculus Project, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The Boston Marathon is special for its sense of community and collective generosity, and I hope that you will join my effort to give back this year. Every donation, no matter the size, will go towards improving education for my peers. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you en route to Boston!
